This year’s Festival was no exception and participants included Newcomers like Lennir Menjazz, a young comic book promoter.

Video Shows MTA Bus Runs Aground into Brooklyn Limestone House

Shocking video has been shared with Grassroots Wire showing a MTA bus crash into a limestone building in Brooklyn on Monday. The video shows a male bus driver moving bags near the steering wheel, then he sits down behind the steering wheel, next he hits two vehicles and lastly, he crashes.

Before 2020 ended, Magnolia Tree Earth Center broke ground for expansion.  The Center is the brainchild of environmental activist Hattie Carthan.

The story goes that in the 1960s, Carthan was on the bus in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn when she noticed a lovely, tall magnolia tree.  As an admirer of the tree, she led a group of community residents to save this rare evergreen when it was threatened to be destroyed by nearby construction.
